Dark Feminine: Women’s Birthright to Self-Preservation & Empowerment
The dark feminine is a crucial aspect of feminine energy, and it is a natural right and ability that every woman on earth was born with. Our dark femininity is our birthright as it exists solely to support us as individuals, and it helps us to preserve our well-being as well as empower ourselves.
We all have access to our dark femininity, and it is our responsibility to reactivate it once we have found that it is dormant. Our dark femininity never truly goes away. Instead, it becomes dormant and inactive as a result of intentional/unintentional social conditioning.
We must have our dark feminine activated and available to us throughout our daily lives as it will help us avoid unnecessary depletion, social abuse, and unfulfilment. It helps us to support our well-being so that we can continue to show up as the best version of ourselves.
Dark femininity is not an aesthetic or disposition. It is a tool in the feminine energy reservoir for us to utilize whenever necessary.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS POST
In this post, we will explore the meaning of the “Dark Feminine,” we will discuss 7 of the many ways our dark femininity helps us to preserve and empower ourselves.
I will also share steps on how to reactivate it, and we will go over a brief list of the common traits of the dark feminine. You can also find a list of books and resources you can use while on your reactivation journey.
Dark Feminine Meaning
The dark feminine is the aspect of femininity that serves the individuality of the woman (the feminine). As opposed to the light feminine whose purpose is to help the feminine serve outside of herself (her family, friends, and community).
Dark Feminine is the inner world and self-focused aspect of femininity that enables women (or the feminine) to preserve themselves throughout their daily lives and empower their authenticity.
Both the light and dark aspects of the feminine work in harmony to assist women in having a healthy, well-rounded, fulfilling, and happy day-to-day life. With the dark feminine active and within reach, women can be more self-aware and authentic.
When one is self-aware, one can honor their authenticity, respond to their needs when they arise, and set boundaries in service of preserving one’s self. This is the gift of the dark feminine.
There are a couple of misconceptions about the light and dark feminine. It is commonly implied that you are either dark feminine or light feminine. Or at the very least, you are either predominantly dark feminine or mostly light feminine.
The dark and light feminine is not what you are, they are energies that we all have access to. We are supposed to have both. We DO have both.
The difference is whether they are dormant or active for each of us. A healthy activation of both energies indicates that we have ready access to each of them and can utilize these energies situation by situation when necessary.
Short History on
the Rejection of the Dark Feminine
The reason why the dark feminine is so consistently dormant among the collective feminine is because of multiple events that have taken place throughout history. The most common reasons are:
1. Society prefers the Light Feminine
- Society has praised, supported, promoted, and encouraged the use of light femininity more than that of the dark feminine throughout the ages. This is because the light feminine is the aspect of femininity that society benefits from the most.
- The light feminine enables women to be selfless, to nurture others, and to focus on the needs and desires of those outside of themselves.
- The dark feminine enables women to be self-focused, nurture themselves, and focus on and honor their own needs and desires.
- See the difference here? It is understandable why the light feminine is preferred by society.
- However, for the overall well-being of each woman, BOTH the light and dark feminine must be active and harmonious with each other.

- The light feminine enables women to be selfless, to nurture others, and to focus on the needs and desires of those outside of themselves.
2. Dark Feminine Traits Made Illegal
- In the recent past, particularly in America, autonomy (a dark feminine trait) was in some cases illegal, unusual, and immoral for a woman to practice.
For example, women had to depend on the males in their family (father, brother, uncle, cousin) or their husbands for financial support.
- In 1974, women were granted the right to have their bank accounts. This is just 49 years ago (written in 2023). Before, women had to have a male cosigner and had no chance of having a bank account without one.
- A woman having a bank account depended solely on the views and preferences of the male in their family or their husband.
- A woman having a bank account depended solely on the views and preferences of the male in their family or their husband.
- This reality that women were faced with naturally caused them to not practice their independence. If they did rebel and practice their independence, it was hidden and kept a secret.
- Therefore, women got caught in a habitual cycle of suppressing their dark femininity.

3. Religions’ Glorification of the Light Feminine
- For centuries, religions have glorified the display and embodiment of the light feminine fervently. Because of this, women have been conditioned to believe that this is the only aspect of their femininity that is good, acceptable, and valuable.
- For example, Christianity honors and glorifies very few women in the religion. The most honored woman in Christianity is Mother Mary who conceived Jesus “without even having sex.”
- This focus and highlight communicates to women that if you want to be holy, righteous, and in alignment with God, then sex shouldn’t be something to strive for or even enjoy – even when you are married.
- It is solely for producing children and pleasing the husband. This narrative alone cuts women off from their dark feminine aspect for several reasons:
- Women will feel guilty for wanting to have sex and enjoying it. This is unfair because sex is a very natural instinct for all living beings, and it is a good thing in the eyes of the divine.
- Sensuality is a dark feminine trait, which involves the enjoyment of the pleasure and connection that takes place during sex. Women will reject this natural trait to not feel guilty for not being a “holy and righteous” woman.
- Women will feel guilty for wanting to have sex and enjoying it. This is unfair because sex is a very natural instinct for all living beings, and it is a good thing in the eyes of the divine.
- Naturally, the glorification of the light feminine by religions has led to the unintentional/intentional deactivation of the dark feminine by women themselves.
- For example, Christianity honors and glorifies very few women in the religion. The most honored woman in Christianity is Mother Mary who conceived Jesus “without even having sex.”
4. Demonization of Dark Feminine Traits
- Throughout history, dark feminine traits have been considered to be immoral, “not of God,” unacceptable, and threatening. Because of this, women got caught in a habitual cycle of rejecting and suppressing their dark femininity to live in peace – somewhat.
- Some examples of the demonization of dark feminine traits are:
- Women displaying their sensuality was, and still is, widely unaccepted by the public. I suppose it depends on how it is displayed, but for the most part – the public leans more toward not feeling comfortable with such displays from women. Women have been unnecessarily labeled as a slut or whore when they have displayed their sensuality.
- Setting Boundaries is another common trait of dark femininity. Sometimes when a woman is labeled a bitch, it is a result of her setting her boundaries. She may even incur an even worse label: “selfish.” Labels like these are like a whip that keeps women in line with the preferences of society and religions.
- When a woman gets her way, which may seem out of the ordinary or unexplainable, she will incur the label “witch.”
- For example, in cases where a woman has won the love and adoration of a powerful man, those around him who have lost some form of access to him will then blame the woman for “putting a spell on him.” When in reality it’s just simply ✨love✨ that has taken place – a result of sensuality (dark feminine trait)

5. Women Rejected Their Dark Feminine Aspect
- Based on the demonization of dark feminine traits by religions and societies, women have learned to reject their dark femininity for the sake of survival and peace. For example:
- To avoid being called a “bitch” or being labeled as “selfish,” women practice saying “yes” to things they don’t want, and “no” to things they do want.
- Women learned to betray their desires, preferences, and instincts to fit into the accepted and preferred light feminine embodiment.
- This is the Rejection of the Autonomous and Boundary Setting traits of the dark feminine.
- To avoid being called a “bitch” or being labeled as “selfish,” women practice saying “yes” to things they don’t want, and “no” to things they do want.
Those are SOME of the many ways the dark feminine has become rejected and dormant in the collective feminine until now. If you’d like to learn more about the suppression of the dark feminine over the ages, check out this ebook on the dark feminine here (coming soon).
The Dark Feminine Today
The concept and idea of the dark feminine have become increasingly popular in recent years. This collective interest is a result of the suppression of our dark femininity that took place over time.
Now, the divine feminine (our inner feminine guidance system) is calling on us to reactivate our dark aspects to balance out the current overactive light feminine energy.
Each woman must have her dark feminine activated so that she can live a harmonious and well-being-filled life. Our dark feminine needs to be nurtured constantly, and it will evolve with us as we evolve throughout our lifetime. It is ours. It is here to serve our individual identity as women.
Dark Feminine Misconceptions
Today, there is a common misunderstanding surrounding what the dark feminine is.
- It is believed to be how a woman looks, or how mean she can be to men. While these things CAN be the result of activated dark femininity, they are NOT what the dark feminine is.
- Refer back to the Dark Feminine Meaning above in the pink box to understand the truth of the Dark Feminine.
This blog post is intended to clarify the truth about dark femininity. We will highlight the importance of it, and explore its traits beyond having a dark aesthetic or being able to manipulate men.
7 Ways Our Dark Feminine Helps Us to Preserve and Empower Ourselves:
Self-preservation is the ability and habit of protecting, maintaining, caring, safeguarding, continuing, keeping alive, and sustaining of oneself. This is the purpose of the dark feminine for women.
Women also have the light feminine aspect that enables us to nurture, serve, and preserve others – particularly our children.
- When a woman has her dark feminine activated, she can balance the light feminine healthily to not deplete herself of her life force energy.
This way, she can continue to function on a day-to-day basis in a fulfilling and sustainable way.
Our Dark Femininity also enables us to empower ourselves.
- Self-empowerment means to give oneself power and authority to do something. This is where our feminine confidence and boldness come from.
Additionally, self-empowerment gives us the bandwidth to say “no” when we mean to, set healthy boundaries, and emancipate ourselves from limiting beliefs and ideas that disempower us.
Using Our Dark Femininity to Survive Our Diverse World
We have varying views, perspectives, and expectations from others and ourselves because we live in a diverse world.
While diversity is a beautiful thing for us all to share, it can lead to differences in opinions, expectations, and requirements of each other. Therefore, this is where our activated dark feminine will come in handy.
Our dark femininity enables us to have a mind of our own, to be self-aware enough to know our truth in the face of social pressure, and to honor our cycles and rhythms regardless of the expectations and beliefs of others.
Here are 7 examples of how our activated dark feminine can help us to preserve our well-being and empower ourselves throughout our daily lives:
1. Honor Our Authenticity
Because our dark femininity causes us to see ourselves through the lens of the divine, we can be intensely aware of our authenticity and individual truth.
Individual authenticity is the genuineness of who are – the side of ourselves that only we can know fully and in-depth.
Once we become aware of our authenticity, we cannot help but honor it. If we have moments of dishonoring it or putting it on the back burner for the sake of others, it will begin to nag at us.
Our dark femininity ignites our intrinsic need and right to be happy, fulfilled, and healthy. Honoring our authenticity is one of the many ways our dark feminine supports us throughout our daily lives.
2. Advocate for Ourself
The need to advocate for oneself will constantly come up throughout our lifetime, especially when we are actively expanding and evolving.
This important skill involves asserting our preferences, needs, and rights in various situations – whether personal or professional.
Our activated dark feminine will provide us with the skills, courage, and muscle to advocate for ourselves when the need arises.
3. Immovable and Moveable
Our activated dark feminine helps us to develop the discernment to be immovable when we must be and movable when we need to be. This art form is a necessary skill for every woman to develop and master.
There will be moments in our lives when we must stand our ground. There will also be moments when we need to be flexible.
In either case, developing this art form will benefit both ourselves and others – whether it is immediately clear or not.
4. Self-Preserve
As opposed to the rampant people-pleasing virus that most women suffer from when their light feminine is overactive, women with their dark feminine activated can discern when it is time to please themselves over others.
This is necessary because the collective feminine had experienced moments of pleasing others to the point of depletion and burnout. It is important to note that it is not a crime to please others. Nor am I discouraging acts of pleasing others from time to time.
However, it is extremely important to develop the awareness, discernment, and ability to fill our cup when it is necessary as opposed to giving from a space of depletion and exhaustion. It is our activated dark feminine that will help us with this art form.
5. Introspective
We naturally become introspective when our dark femininity is activated.
Introspective means to be inward-looking, and to have the habit to self-analyze, self-examine, self-observe, and be contemplative and thoughtful about oneself.
The benefit of being introspective is the self-improvement and natural expansion that takes place. It also helps us to take responsibility for our state of being and avoid being in a condition of victimhood.
Introspection also helps us to take charge of our life and the direction it is going. We can check in with ourselves consistently and make necessary changes where we see fit.
It also frees others from the burden or discomfort of having to give us a reality check, an intervention, or any life advice – for the most part – to help us get on the right track in our lives.
Because we take full responsibility for ourselves, we can see our faults early on and correct them without our family/friends having to build the courage to steer us in the right direction. This is one of the many gifts our activated dark femininity gives to us.
6. Comfortable saying, “No.”
The light feminine is the “yes woman” aspect of the feminine, and the dark feminine is the “no.” This does not mean that we never ever say yes when our dark feminine is activated. That would be impossible and inconducive to our lives.
However, women have had issues with the word “no” for multiple generations now. We have been conditioned, trained, and encouraged to say yes, even against our desires and better judgment.
The activated dark feminine enables women to say “no” comfortably.
- This means that she is connected to the aspect of self that KNOWS that it is her right to honor herself and her truth, regardless of what others think, feel, or prefer.
She doesn’t need others to understand why her decision is a no, she doesn’t even need to know why she felt inclined to say “no.” All she needs to know is that it’s a “no” for her, and so it’s a “no.” Period.
A woman with her dark feminine activated knows and accepts that “I don’t want to,” is a valid enough reason as to why she doesn’t want to do something.
- Sometimes people will pressure you into giving a reason, and implying that the reason has to be valid for the no to be valid.
The woman with her dark feminine activated does not give af!
- “I don’t want to.” is substantial enough. She just knows it’s a no and that is that. It is a no because I don’t want to, and that is enough for the woman with her dark feminine activated.
7. Faces the Dark
In this context, darkness is the shadow aspect we encounter throughout our lifetimes. Shadow aspects are pain, depression, fear, anger, guilt, shame, doubt, insecurity, powerlessness, jealousy, hatred, etc.
When a woman has activated her dark feminine, she has gone through a process of facing her shadow aspects head-on.
- It allows her to take responsibility for herself and acknowledge her role in the way things are in her life.
The natural result of “facing the dark” is no longer being a victim to our shadow self.
- Activated dark femininity enables the woman to understand the cause/root of these shadow aspects coming up.
- Which then leads to her finding a solution rather than succumbing to anxiety, drama, and pain.
It is the ability to look at our pain in the eye and say, “I only see the empowerment that will come as a result.”
- Here, the dark feminine becomes bigger than the pain and the fear. Each dark aspect becomes another thing to overcome and transcend.
Instead of remaining a victim to trauma, pain, hurt, etc.; the dark feminine has developed the ability to see this darkness in a different light.
- While the pain will still hurt, and the fear will still trigger – it stops there, and no longer grow or expand into anything beyond that.
She knows how to pivot and create the reality she prefers/desires out of it. This is the power of the dark feminine.
3 Common Dark Feminine Traits
Dark feminine traits are results and indicators of an activated dark feminine within a woman. These traits and indicators can also be used as a guide to reactivate your own dark feminine.
They can also help you gauge where you are on the dark femininity and light feminine spectrum.
For a full exhausted list of all the dark feminine traits and indicators, get this free download here (coming soon).
In the meantime, here is a list of 3 of the most common traits (indicators) of activated dark feminine energy:
1. Discernment
Discernment is the ability to judge well. Whether that be a situation, a person, an environment, etc, this is a common trait of a woman who has reactivated her dark feminine.
Because she has cultivated and maintained an intimate relationship with herself, she can better hear and listen to guidance from within (intuition).
Discernment also enables the woman to protect herself from and avoid potential harm or discomfort in particular situations or people.
- It is her inner guide looking out for her and leading her to the best situation and results possible. It is also her habit to hear her inner guidance and take inspired action.
2. Autonomous
Autonomous means having the freedom to govern oneself and having control of one’s affairs. To not be under the rule of someone else, and able to take care of oneself without any outside assistance.
- This is a huge indicator of revived dark femininity.
This does not mean that you are an island. We can never be completely self-reliant and without the need of others. We are social beings, and we mostly thrive in communities.
- But in this context, autonomy speaks to a woman having true ownership over her life – regardless of social pressure and societal expectations.
For example, A single woman living in the Western world who chooses to be celibate until she is married will/do face a lot of backlash, as it is not the current norm.
- With her dark feminine activated, she does not need the validation, agreement, or understanding of others to stand in her decision.
Her validating herself is enough for her to make that decision and stick with it. As this decision only affects her and her life.
- An autonomous woman does not need validation from others to make a decision that will solely affect her and her life.
3. Sensual
Sensuality is a HUGE indicator of an activated dark feminine. Some believe that you have to activate your sensuality to tap into your dark feminine. But the truth is, it is the other way around.
- Sensuality is a result of an activated dark feminine as opposed to becoming sensual to activate dark femininity.
To be truly sensual, you have to have cultivated an intimate relationship with yourself. “Intimate,” in this context, means a personal and close-knit relationship with yourself.
- This results in you being able to understand and accept yourself on a deeper level.
This is the birthplace of sensuality. We reactivate our dark femininity by having a close relationship with ourselves. Read more on reactivating your dark femininity below in this post.
- Sensuality predominantly carries the notion of sexuality and pleasure. While these are indeed true, sensuality – at its core – includes other everyday experiences.
Another way to define sensuality is the condition of being pleasing and fulfilling to the senses.
- This means anything pleasing and fulfilling to our eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and sense of touch.
- By this standard, the woman with her dark feminine activated can implant moments of sensuality throughout her environment, energetic field, and life.
Below are some common indicators of activated sensuality within a woman:
- Her home feels like a paradise with a cozy and welcoming feel.
- She takes pride in her physical appearance and is always looking beautiful and captivating in her unique way.
- Communicating with her feels like an easy yet transcendental experience.
- She knows how to use scents to evoke specific emotions and results in both people and environments.
How to REACTIVATE Your Dark Feminine
The first and most crucial step to deliberately activate your dark feminine – if it is dormant – is to spend quiet and intimate time with yourself.
- The goal and purpose are to get to know yourself, honor your authenticity, and live your truth.
I know. We all believe that we already know ourselves. And we do, of course. But most times, without even noticing it, we tend to regurgitate the truths and beliefs of others rather than exploring our own.
My Own Journey to Reactivating My Dark Feminine
This was me. I always thought that I was aware of my authenticity and truth. But I would always find myself contradicting myself, not being able to express why I believe in something or not – because they weren’t my authentic beliefs.
I would say “yes” to things when I knew it was a “no” for me. Instead, I would torture myself into turning my true “no” into a “yes” – which never did happen, because it was not my truth.
I would find myself randomly crying without knowing the reason why, and I just always felt discord within myself. I felt like I was on a path to nowhere. Nowhere that I truly wanted to go or be.
Then one day, I had an experience that would change the trajectory of my life forever. I experienced burn-out, fainted in Grand Central around a ton of strangers, and got a laceration on my chin where I had to get stitches.
- This was a serious wake-up call to me to take more care of myself. It became evident to me the repercussions of self-neglect and being too much in my light feminine.
- At the time, I didn’t realize it was my dormant dark femininity that caused all of these events to take place. But in retrospect, it became more clear. Then, I became a walking, talking, living, breathing example of the importance of our dark femininity.
Steps to Reactivating Your Dark Feminine
- Spend some time alone, and nurture an intimate relationship with yourself.
- In this context, “intimate” means to have a close, dear, and familiar relationship with yourself. This is where your self-awareness will increase and you will be more in tune with yourself.
- In this context, “intimate” means to have a close, dear, and familiar relationship with yourself. This is where your self-awareness will increase and you will be more in tune with yourself.
- Explore your authenticity and discover the truths, values, and beliefs that are truly aligned with you.
- Take inventory of how much of your authentic beliefs and values are currently active in your present life.
- Implement those beliefs and values into your daily life that have been dormant or inactive.
- Amplify the beliefs and values already active in your life by integrating them into daily habits and hobbies.
- Take inventory of how much of your authentic beliefs and values are currently active in your present life.
- Embody dark feminine traits and characteristics that are dormant within you. For example,
- if you lack confidence, challenge yourself with opportunities and practices that will help to activate faith and trust in yourself.
- This could look like applying for a new job opportunity regardless of feeling underqualified for the role.
- It could also look like speaking your truth in small increments when you wouldn’t usually do so.
- if you lack confidence, challenge yourself with opportunities and practices that will help to activate faith and trust in yourself.
Activating your dark feminine is a necessity for every woman. If you intend to live a beautiful, happy, fulfilling life, your dark feminine energy must be active and within reach.
Our dark feminine is at the core of who we are. The dark feminine is the container and holder for the light feminine. However, keep in mind that both MUST be activated and within reach to live a healthy and well-rounded life.
Dark Feminine Books
(and Resources)
Dark feminine books are great resources to help you on your reactivation journey. Some of these books are not directly linked to the subject of dark femininity, but the processes and ideas shared in them will help to reactivate and solidify dark feminine traits.
For example, the book “Why Men Love Bitches” helps to reactivate and solidify the traits of being autonomous, discerning, self-aware, self-assured, sensual, confident, and setting boundaries.
Below are some of the many books that will help you on your dark feminine reactivation journey. The links to these books are also available so that you can purchase them if any are of interest to you.
I have also added some quotes to give you an idea of what each book would be like. Enjoy and let me know which book is of interest to you. For an extended list of dark feminine books, check out this post here.

1. Goddess Wisdom
P.S. The book cover has changed since I bought it, hence the difference between the picture above and the photo on the product page. It is still the same book.
Dark Feminine traits highlighted in Goddess Wisdom:
- Self-Awareness
- Feminine Divinity
- Self-Preservation
- Transformation and Rebirth
- Honor Cycles and Rhythms (Body)
This was the very first book I read while going through my dark feminine reactivation journey. Goddess Wisdom talks about the history and the true power of the goddess (the feminine). Goddess Wisdom will reactivate your dark feminine energy.
This book recounts the true and full history of the feminine. It covers eras when societies were matriarchal, meaning they worshipped the goddess when the feminine was empowered and held in high regard. The traditions, wisdom, and understandings that pervaded throughout these times are discussed at length in this book.
Knowing and understanding the TRUE herstory (history) of the feminine is a paradigm shifter that will change your life for the better as a woman. This book will help you reconnect with your divine feminine aspect, which will then facilitate you in reactivating your dark feminine.
Here are some of my favorite quotes from the Goddess Wisdom. Hopefully, these quotes will help you reach an understanding of what you can obtain from reading this book:
Quotes from Goddess Wisdom
“The reclamation of ancient feminine wisdom and sacred customs mark the ‘third wave’ of feminine emancipation worldwide.”
Goddess Wisdom by Tanishka
“The truth is, every woman is a Goddess – once she understands that she’s inherently divine by design. When we make this shift within our psyche, we start honoring ourselves accordingly – in our choices.”
Goddess Wisdom by Tanishka
“The Goddess tradition sees everything as inherently divine. It encourages us to identify the blessing in every situation. The focus is on attaining personal mastery through self-awareness, so rather than seeking to please an external deity, we fulfill our divine potential through self-enquiry and observation.”
Goddess Wisdom by Tanishka
“Because of the sexist conditioning of male-dominated society, the harmonious male-and-female spirit of all early tradition has been lost, so that generation of the male deity is now called ‘religion,’ whereas veneration of any feminine aspect is called a ‘cult’
– Genesis of the Grail Kings by Laurence Gardner.
Goddess Wisdom by Tanishka
2. Seductresses
Dark Feminine traits highlighted in Seductress:
- Sensuality
- Autonomy
- Self-Awareness
- Self-Assuredness
- Confidence
- Divinity
- Authenticity
- Self-Love
- Adoration
- Creativity
Seductress by Betsy Prioleau is currently my favorite book in my collection right now. I haven’t even finished it, but it is certainly paradigm-shifting. Just the first few chapters have helped me to energetically reclaim my innate feminine power.
This book reminds us that women are inherently sovereign and we have allowed this birthright to slip away from our grip. This does not imply that we are to rule over our masculine counterparts. Instead, it speaks about the power we once had over ourselves.
Now, we have unknowingly relinquished our natural power under the guise of attaining power through equality – which is masculine power.
Betsy also recounts the stories of different seductresses throughout the times. She intentionally highlights the fact that they do not possess the typical traits that we have always thought seductresses possess:
- Non-beauties, seniors, intellectuals, artists, rulers/policy-makers, and adventurers; were the women who truly ravished the world with their unique seductive qualities.
Take a read to be truly inspired, empowered, transformed, and activated in your dark femininity. Below are a few of my favorite quotes from this book to give you a taste of what you can expect from it.
Quoutes from Seductress:
“DO AS THE GODDESS DID.”
Seductresses by Betsy Prioleau
Seductresses are in fact the liberated woman incarnate. Feminism‘s big mistake was kicking them out of the club.
Seductresses by Betsy Prioleau
Men in their libidinal depths, want a divinity to serve and adore and a replay of the sexual themes that arose through goddess worship where the erotic impulse, as we know it, took root. They want to be sent to paradise – bowled over, transfigured, and reborn.
Seductresses by Betsy Prioleau
Paradoxically seductresses are often the best thing to happen to a man. Contrary to fable, they’re usually the ones to put air in a man’s tank, conferring growth, creativity, happiness, and authentic masculinity.

3. Why Men Love Bitches
Dark Feminine traits highlighted in Why Men Love Bitches:
- Autonomy
- Self-Love
- Self-Respect
- High Self-Worth
- Sensuality
- Discernment
- Confident
- Mysterious
- Intentional
- Boundary Setter
- Comfortable saying “No”
Why Men Love Bitches is a clever guide and handbook for women to hold their own while dealing with men as potential romantic partners.
- Particularly in the Western world, women have been so entrenched in their light feminine that they cater to others with their most valuable mating possession: their “intimate bits (sexual organs).
The “bitch” that is referred to in this book is literally “the woman with her dark feminine activated.” This book highlights the negative effects of predominantly living in your light feminine energy, with your dark feminine dormant.
As I stated earlier, the dark feminine’s sole purpose is to assist women in preserving themselves, prioritizing their well-being, and empowering themselves throughout their lifetime.
This book also highlights the fact that men appreciate and value women who are activated in their dark femininity. After reading Why Men Love Bitches, you will feel more encouraged and empowered to reactivate and embody your dark femininity.
Quotes from Why Men Love Bitches:
The bitch is an empowered woman who drives tremendous strength from the ability to be an independent thinker, particularly in the world that’s still teaches women to be self-abnegating (the denial of one’s own interests in favor of the interests of others)
Why Men Love Bitches by Sherry Argov
If the choice is between her dignity and having a relationship, the bitch will prioritize her dignity above all else.
Why Men Love Bitches by Sherry Argov
Bitch: Kind yet strong. She has a strength that is ever so subtle. She doesn’t give up her life, and she won’t chase a man. She won’t let a man think he has 100% hold on her. And she will stand up for herself when he steps over the line.
Why Men Love Bitches by Sherry Argov
The bitch is very nice. She is as sweet as a Georgia peach. But inside every sweet peach is a strong pit. This means she won’t explain the obvious when a man is disrespectful.
There is no way to hold your own in a relationship and simultaneously accept rude behavior.
Why Men Love Bitches by Sherry Argov
4. Sacred Rebels Oracle Deck
The Sacred Rebels Oracle Deck is one of my favorite divination tools that I used while I was on my reactivation journey.
If you are not familiar with Oracle cards, it is a deck with each card carrying an individual message with activating artwork to match. The associated guidebook provides an extension into the message of each card as well as activating guidance to follow to embody each message.
What I love about this deck is that it focuses on amplifying your individuality and authenticity. Additionally, it empowers you to be unapologetic and to see the value in your unique vision and perspectives. This is how this deck assists in reactivating dark femininity.
Below are a few of my favorite quotes from this the Sacred Rebels Oracle Deck:
FOLLOW YOUR OWN RHYTHM
“You march to your own beat. No one else can tell you what your inner rhythms are. You must trust your own timing. You cannot be rushed or forced, nor can you be held back when it is time to burst forth. Life celebrates the natural rise and fall of your inner rhytms.”
Sacred Rebels Oracle Deck by Alana Fairchild
TRUST YOURSELF
“You are wise. You know how to grow, even without knowing how you know… When you trust yourself, you relax and you can heed your own wisdom, insight, and messages much more clearly and easily.”
